Video Team

Briana Ajayi:

Briana Ajayi is a junior at Utica University who’s from Oklahoma City. She’s majoring in Communication and Media and is passionate about expressing herself creatively and giving back to the community through collaborative projects. She is also an active member of Kappa Delta Phi NAS sorority. In her free time, you can find her reading, writing or staying involved in campus activities.

Eleanor Berkhoudt:

Eleanor (Ellie) Berkhoudt is a senior at Utica University majoring in Communication and Media with a concentration in public relations and a minor in chemistry. Originally a chemistry major, she made the decision to change her major to communication during her sophomore year in hopes of discovering her passion. Since then, she has participated in Utica University’s student radio station, television station and newspaper.

Jack Bodnar:

Jack Bodnar is a senior studying Communication and Media with a concentration in sports journalism. Jack aspires to be a sports columnist and has always been involved with sports in some capacity. He enjoys playing golf in his free time and participates in other on campus activities. He was once a contributing writer for the student newspaper, The Tangerine.

James Boss

James Boss is a senior at Utica University. He transferred to Utica in the fall of 2021 from Moorpark College. Boss will earn his bachelor’s degree in Communication and Media as well as minors in film and journalism. He has worked with WPNR 90.7 FM all three years he’s attended Utica University, starting as a member of their practicum class before becoming the Sports Director in his second year. Now he serves as one of their lead sports broadcasters in his final semester.

Nolan Hyman:

Nolan Hyman is a Communication and Media student in their junior year at Utica University. Hyman has a deep interest in philosophy, and this strongly coincides with his passion for writing. In his free time, Hyman practices with his Utica Mock Trial team, and he also enjoys producing videos for a variety of different projects.

Jeff Kopek:

Jeff Kopek is a senior studying Communication and Media at Utica University with a concentration in Public Relations. Kopek is from Syracuse and graduated from The Frederick Gunn School in Connecticut. He is a member of the podcasting team for this project, produced by the JLM 461 class at Utica University. You can also catch Kopek on the radio calling for the university’s sporting events as he is a member of WPNR 90.7 FM’s Sports Broadcasting Department.

Nico Leonard:

Nico Leonard is a junior Communication and Media student with a concentration in Creative Studies. He is from Long Beach Island, New Jersey and enjoys surfing and snowboarding in his free time. He has worked for Utica University’s student newspaper, The Tangerine, managing the newspaper’s social media accounts and now works as the Program Director for the college radio station, WPNR 90.7 FM. He aspires to be a videographer and loves creating stories through the lenses of a video camera. Nico is also a member of the men’s soccer team.

Lala Lopez:

Lala Lopez, a senior exchange student majoring in Communication and Media at Utica University, hails from Spain. She brings practical experience from working at a Spanish radio station and completing television internships. Outside academia, Lala finds joy in reading and cooking, and has a passion for music and dance.

Harlee Lucier:

Harlee Lucier is a senior studying Communication and Media with a concentration in sports journalism at Utica University. She is from Parish and attended APW High School. Lucier is a member of Utica Parks and You’s video team, a project organized by students in JLM 461 at Utica University. She is the Sports Director for WPNR 90.7, as well as a member of the Utica women’s soccer team.

Mark Mason:

Mark is a senior student at Utica University. He works part-time as an MMJ with WKTV in Utica and he is also a production assistant with Utica University’s television studio, Utica University TV. Mark has won several RSI awards for academic achievement and was awarded an outstanding public service announcement campaign award from the New York State Broadcasters Association in 2021. Mark enjoys going to parks to read and enjoy the sunshine, and his favorite park is Roscoe Conkling Park.

Kyree Nelson:

Kyree Nelson is a senior at Utica University majoring in public relations and marketing. He is from Queens and enjoys his time at Utica University. Like many, mental health wasn’t something he paid attention to until the COVID pandemic started. Now he realizes how important it is and something as simple as going to the park and going outside can improve that tremendously. Kyree’s favorite sport is football and he played throughout high school and for two years at Utica.

Ezekiel Prince:

Ezekiel Prince is a senior from the Bronx. Zeke is a Communication and Media major with a concentration in sports communication and public relations. Most of his involvement revolves around Utica University. He is a part of WPNR 90.7 FM as a sports broadcaster/radio personality,  an intern with sports information at Utica University, and wrote stories for the Tangerine for a semester.

MaryLourdes Santiago:

MaryLourdes Santiago is a senior studying Communication and Media with a concentration in public relations and is expected to graduate in May 2024. Her hobbies include reading, listening to music and spending time with her boyfriend. She is a learning services peer mentor for underclassmen on campus. Santiago is on the marketing and analytics team as part of the Utica Parks and You project.

Diana Sidorevich:

Diana Sidorevich is a senior in the Communication and Media program with a concentration in journalism. She worked as director of public service at WPNR 90.7 last year and currently serves as the managing editor of The Tangerine. She enjoys cooking, reading, playing pickleball and going on walks in her free time.
